I am the West Midlands regional lead for the LTC Programme. I come from a social services background and originally trained as a social worker and worked in Birmingham, Leicestershire and Warwickshire for 32 years in a variety of mainly management and development roles, with a special responsibility for older people's services.

I worked extensively in partnership with health, local government and third sector colleagues to develop a number of services, including reablement, Single Assessment and telecare

I have been with the LTC Programme since January. I work closely with the SHA and social care to support PCTs, social care and the third sector to develop person-centred services for people with long term conditions.

I am committed to a whole systems approach, developing integrated services and service user involvement.
